You are embodied. Already. When we talk of embodying something, it is the process of conscious remembrance. You bring what lies within the unconscious to the subconscious in order to have a sense of your sovereign roots.

What is the Sacred Shadow?

If shadow work in its current iteration is a recycling of the oppressor’s tools, how can we return to this work that is truly ancestral. Shadow work wasn’t “discovered” by Carl Jung. It’s existed for as long as all of our indigenous ancestors have existed in community. The process of integrating the subconscious into the conscious. The waking of the mind’s connection to its body and the body to its mind. THIS is the sacred work. Sacred Shadow Work exists to distinguish itself from the master’s tools and return to the rightful owners: the people. You. Me. Everyone that existed before and comes after. Adding the word “sacred” helps in re-membering we are here not to other, to separate. We are here to expand to hold our complexities and be in relationship with one another.
We are made to believe that the darkness carries what we fear. The Monstrous. The Uncontrollable. The Feral. However, we are formed in darkness. It is the vital life blood of creation. It is Holy. The truth is, we do not actually fear the darkness. We fear what lies in the dark. And, we fear because we are taught to see only with our eyes, what our mind can perceive. It is demanded of us that we abandon our intuitive gnosis from an early age. This idea, that darkness is evil, is a tenant of colonialism, the father of white supremacy. Colonialism needs binaries in order to function. It must eliminate end erase “the other” in order to survive. Once the “other” is banished, everyone is invited to wear a mask of homogeneity.
Parts of you may recoil at this, asking what this has to do with shadow work. In our society, the shadow is “the other.” It has become this thing that must be subdued and controlled lest it rule your life. And, while everyone is encouraged to do shadow work, it is not separate from its colonial roots that feed into colonialism’s most gifted child, white supremacy. Darkness/Shadow/Black/Brown…they are the enemy of whiteness as a construct. This impacts the potency of shadow work.
The Sacred Shadow is not a source of shame or the wound. It is where all our possibilities lie. It is the holder of your infinite ways of being and knowing. It holds no moral value. It is scary until you understand that what is waiting for you is no boogie-man: it’s you in all of your iterations, past, present and unknown.
That isn’t scary. It is thrilling.
You are a wonder to behold. You are magic.
This container is NOT for:
anyone who does not have tools in place when/if they become activated. While Samar Jade is a trauma-informed practitioner, this is not a container for anyone in the beginning of their deconstruction.
anyone unwilling to sit with the uncomfortable or the liminal.
anyone not ready for deep transformation
anyone afraid of holding space for the monsters within
This container is for anyone:
ready for expansion of self and have support in place
ready for deconstructing colonial ideals conscious or subconscious
that holds themselves accountable when necessary
that may or may not be familiar with shadow work
that may or may not have a somatic practice in place
Initiate your journey by letting your monsters come to the feast.

It is three months long. You will meet once a week with an off week for integration.
Each month, the first 1:1 is one where we meet the part of you that wishes to be witnessed and integrated through divination that utilizes archetypes. Week 2 is a 30 min check-in where you are able to vocalize where you have met this part of you in the world and the mask it was hidden beneath to be acceptable. The third week we meet for the Focalizing session where we gently meet the somatic experience of this aspect of you. The fourth week is an integration week.
In addition, you have access to a private Voxer channel for support and/or witnessing throughout.

There are three tiers: $1551 for Economically Secure, $1221 for Full Price and $999 for Marginalized Identity. There are monthly payment options.
The reparations tier is $3333. This allows for spaciousness and scholarship opportunities.

The commitment is 3 months. We will meet once a week for three weeks with one off week for integration. If you need to make up your regularly scheduled weekly meeting, that option is available within reason. After you have completed one cohort, you have the option of meeting month to month or up to 6 months.
