I am a child of the deep gothic south.

A landscape where the veil is thin, the history is heavy, and the "haint spaces" between life and death are an inescapable reality. In the deep south, we know that nothing ever truly leaves; it only changes form.

My full-length poetry collection, “Blue Violet: Haint Spaces”, is a cartography of the in-between.

It explores the intersection of lineage, the body, and the spiritual architecture of the South. My work is grounded in my lived experience: the sacred memory of grief and loss, joy, and everything in between. You can purchase a copy with my publisher Finishing Line Press, or on Amazon (international shipping).

Readers have described “Blue Violet: Haint Spaces” as “a collection you must take your time with. it haunts you.”, “stunning”, and “electrifying”.
